The Sonoran Spine Research and Education Foundation (SSREF) is an independent, non-profit organization. We support public awareness programs and advocacy groups for spinal disorders. We also conduct and support spine research activities. Projects of interest include pediatric and adult scoliosis, kyphosis, spine trauma, osteoporosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disk disease and work related back injuries.

Clinical spine research studies are fundamental to our mission. We are conducting several clinical studies at this time. [read more]


Education - We also host and sponsor education seminars and classes about topics from spine problems to managing arthritis pain.

We fund college scholarships to students with significant spinal deformity.

Information - We are dedicated to improving techniques for correcting spinal deformity for people who suffer from severe scoliosis and kyphosis, as well as for treating problems like spondylolisthesis (slipped vertebra).
